Active ingredients:
Magnesium lactate dihydrate 470 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride 5 mg.
Dosage form: Film-coated tablet.
Packaging: Box of 5 blisters or 10 blisters x 10 tablets.
Expiry date: 36 months.
Posology
Reserved for adults and children over 12 years of age.
In adults: 6 to 8 tablets per day divided into 2 or 3 doses during meals.
In children over 12 years old (approximately 30 kg): 4 to 6 tablets per day divided into 2 or 3 doses during meals.
Administration
Oral route.
Tablets are taken during a meal and washed down with large quantities of water (at least a glass).
The daily dose should preferably be divided into several doses during the meal.
Do not prolong treatment beyond 1 month without medical advice: in the absence of improvement or in the event of persistence of symptoms, seek medical advice.
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
INDICATIONS
This medicine contains magnesium. It is indicated for adults and children over 12 years old (i.e. approximately 30 kg).
The combination of a certain number of the following symptoms may suggest a magnesium deficiency.
- Nervousness, irritability, mild anxiety, temporary fatigue, minor sleep disturbances;
- Manifestations of anxiety, such as digestive spasms or palpitations (healthy heart);
- Muscle cramps, tingling.
Magnesium intake can improve these symptoms.
If there is no improvement in these symptoms after one month of treatment, there is no point in continuing it.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not take VILUVIT:
- If you are allergic to magnesium, pyridoxine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- If you have severe renal failure
- If you are receiving concomitant treatment with medicines containing levodopa.
VILUVIT tablets are not suitable for children up to 12 years of age.
